UPPER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
School kids in Chamo Mile, South Ethiopia, do not have a school facility suitable for education
The school is made of mud and the inside of the rooms is dirt-floor, which makes it unsuitable for learning purpose. The windows are very small and hence they do not provide enough natural light. The school does not have toilet and library facility at all.
Coffeeprint4Change has started the concrete production facility employees 20 boys and girls who are committed to be part of our project of change. They have taken a proper training on how to produce concrete blocks using the current machine they have.
The machine is able to produce up to 1200 blocks in a day. The blocks produced at the plant will be used for our other future Coffeeprint4Change - projects such as schools, libraries, sanitation facilities and other construction in the area.
NEW WATER TAP STATION
School kids in Jano Mile, South Ethiopia, did not have direct access to clean, fresh water. They had to carry water with them to school from far away, which they were bringing in the yellow, plastic, jerry cans.
Coffeeprint4change changed all that by organizing and funding the construction of the tap water station. The project has been such a great success, since everybody got involved and was happy to help. The most hard-working and proudest are the kids themselves, which through this project also learn the value of hard work and team spirit.
Coffeeprint4Change has completed the building of the training center for sewing & handicraft in Jano Mile, South Ethiopia. Our trainees have already started their training to acquire the necessary skill they need.
C4C is now taking active part in this Growth Plan and will help young people gain skills, organize themselves and help them on the way become entrepreneurs. This project will directly contribute to creation of jobs to those who are committed to engaging themselves in changing their lives.
